Get to Know Reba

Hi, I am Reba Lasater, Independent Senior Sales Director with Mary Kay! I am SO excited to get to know you whether you are a customer or a consultant visiting this page. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself so here is my story.

 

I began my business in June of 2007 strictly for the part time benefits. I was a 19 year old broke college kid and half price makeup sounded amazing, plus making a little money off of my Mom and Grandma's orders offset the cost of my product!

 

In the beginning what stopped me from going further with it was the fact that I THOUGHT I was way too busy; taking 21 hours a semester, working part time at a church, performing, AND riding horses. However when I FINALLY opened my kit two years later, it completely changed my life as I learned life skills on how to live in harmony in my faith, family, and career! Life will always be busy, and I needed female mentors to show me how to navigate through the chaos.

 

I debuted as an independent Sales Director on December 1, 2010, during my senior year of college at Southern Nazarene University while completing my degree in Vocal Performance. So far on my Mary Kay journey, I have earned the use of 7 cars including 1 Pink Cadillac, multiple diamond rings, designer purses, paid off credit card debt, bought my first home as a single girl, but most importantly, I have gained tremendous personal growth and discovered that my passion is helping women find freedom by developing their God-given strengths and abilities and by me leading by example. As so many individuals including myself have had so many personal wins over the years, it has led our team to many unit awards as well. Our unit has earned all the awards available to a new unit making us a prestigious Triple Crown winner, and in 2012 we were the #1 Rookie Unit in the entire Danforth Area. We have also achieved 7 unit clubs; our highest is $450,000 in retail sales in a year! My favorite part about my journey now is designing my business around my life.
